Windsurfing Vectors

Rising from the Californian aerospace, sailing, and surf cultures, windsurfing exploded into worldwide popularity by the 1980s.

Inspired by surf magazines, 1980s pop art, and the classic surf doc The Endless Summer, I designed three separate windsurfing icons, which use colors and repeated linework to complement each other and convey the vibrant, energetic culture of the sport’s Golden Age.
